I was thinking that the year will be great, but it was not. Sadness and stress. The corona virus pandemic is impacting communities worldwide. Most of the year I was stuck at home and pretty much silent. I have not updated this section in almost a year. I was excited to start 2020 with the bang, but everything ground to a halt. I was worried if my job will be impacted.

This is one crazy year this year. We lost a handful of great people, Kobe Bryant, a most amazing athlete and basketball player. I don't watch too many sports on TV, and those who don't watch any sports at all may know who he was. Also Alex Trebek, an American game show.

But I enjoy to watch knowledge based programing. I love game shows, especially quiz game shows. I don't classify myself as an intellectual but an average Joe, who goes to work in the morning and comes back home. Now and then, I catch Jeopardy, a question quiz game show. The rules are simple, contestants choose a category and a clue worth a dollar amount. Each of the three contestants answer the clue with a question.

I enjoy quiz game shows and specially answering questions that are limitless. I don't know how well I would do because I would probably lose, but I get angry when one of the contestants get the answer wrong. Ken Jennings, who participated in the game show won close to tons of money after appearing 75 times back in 2004. Some players get very competitive. After legendary host Alex Trebek lost his battle with pancreatic cancer, Ken Jennings will take his place.

Being a curious person, I crave knowledge and I get bored easily on my days off from work. I spend my time watching documentaries or trying to learn something new. I crave knowledge and everyone has different methods of learning. My favorite methods are doing things with my hands and seeing them in real life or in media.

When I watch Jeopardy show with my mom she is surprised that I know many questions and answers. Brain is a very unique piece of equipment that we are blessed with. On the side note I am was participating in the advocacy workshop in 2019. This program advocates for people with special needs and their families. For one of our assignments was what kind of disability we would like to have from given list. I have chosen a learning disability because I am curious what makes that person tick. And not all learning disabilities are the same. I am have learned so much, last year.

I am slowly building my advocacy mentoring empowerment pages. Though there is sadness and frustration, we need to be happy and look forward. Though 2020 has been a sad year for the most of us, I look forward to 2021 and a future with brighter future.pastedGraphic
